Aleutia is a Limited Company established in London in 2006. It is at once a collaborative, open source project of vast possibilities and a highly focused process to rapidly produce and distribute affordable computer appliances for people without reliable access to power.

The nature of its ambitions and its focus on the developing world have encouraged a number of people to lend their time and extensive experience to this project and Aleutia enjoys decades worth of experience in management, distribution, sales, industrial design, and software engineering from staff spread across three continents.

Mike Rosenberg – Founder, Sales Director

Mike has a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Chicago, and has traveled extensively in Africa. He previously enjoyed a career in IT sales before launching this venture in response to the challenges encountered setting up an Internet cafe in Ghana.

Sharif Fanselow – Chief Technology Officer

Sharif received a First Class with Distinction in Multimedia Technology & Applications from London Metropolitan University in 2006. Since then, he became committed to the development of Green Tech, getting involved in numerous projects; 1001 Wells for Darfur, belu water and most recently, London based ISP GreenNet. Playing an integral role in founding the relationship between GreenNet and Aleutia, Sharif is on board to help steer Aleutia’s environmental and ethical approach to technology.

Cameron Freer – Software Engineer

Cameron holds a PhD from Harvard University in Mathematics and is completing his post-doc work at MIT and is proficient in many aspects of computer science.
