Aleutia is a Limited Company established in London in 2006. It is at once a collaborative, open source project of vast possibilities and a highly focused process to rapidly produce and distribute affordable computer appliances for people without reliable access to power.
The nature of its ambitions and its focus on the developing world have encouraged a number of people to lend their time and extensive experience to this project and Aleutia enjoys decades worth of experience in management, distribution, sales, industrial design, and software engineering from staff spread across three continents.

Mike Rosenberg – Founder, Embedded PC Product ManagerMike manages ODM projects, developing custom solutions that answer the needs of our customers. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Chicago, and has traveled extensively in Africa. He previously worked as a corporate account manager for the IT firm Kelway before launching this venture in response to the challenges encountered setting up an Internet cafe in Ghana. |
Sharif Fanselow – Co-founder, Chief Technology OfficerSharif manages our operations and our product development. He received a 1st Class Distinction in Multimedia Technology Applications from London Metropolitan University, and has been involved with Aleutia since its inception. Prior to joining Aleutia he has been involved in numerous Green Tech projects: 1001 Wells for Darfur, Belu Water and GreenNet. He is fluent in English and Arabic. |

Shmail Shahid – Financial ControllerShmail joined Aleutia in 2010 following a successful stint at Peppermint Events, where he managed a diverse range of operations including cash management, accounting, in addition to complex general operations. |

Artyom Pertsovsky – Embedded PC SpecialistArtyom lives and breathes computers and is responsible for complex engineering work as well as software development and Windows Embedded 7 OS development. Artyom joined Aleutia in 2010 following a career with Dell in PC, laptop, and server manufacturing. He is fluent in English and Russian. |
