Small and SilentThe D2 Mini PC provides reasonable performance with a Dual Core Processor, fast SSD, and 4GB of RAM but is completely silent (0dB). It's ideal as a home or business computer and its small size allows it to sit underneath a monitor. Energy Efficient - the D2 Pro consumes just 20 Watts on normal tasks and peaks at 24 Watts meaning it consumes 75% less power than a normal PC, reducing your Total Cost of Ownership. Silent - We use a fanless power supply and AC adapter, and the processor and chipset are passively cooled so the D2 is completely silent. Reliable -besides being fanless, the D2 features a Solid State Drive as standard. That lack of moving parts ensures long term reliability backed up by our free 2 Year Warranty.

Almost Twice as Fast as the T1Though the D2 Pro Mini PC only uses 20 Watts on a average, it is significantly faster than the T1 thanks to its 64-Bit Pinetrail dual core processor. The D2 Pro is powered by a passively cooled Intel Atom D525 Processor (2 x 1.8GHz) which feature an integrated GPU and memory controller – a breakthrough that greatly lowers power consumption but is powerful enough to play back 720p HD video. Small and FanlessThe D2 Pro Mini PC is 67% smaller than a Small Form Factor (SFF) PC from Fujitsu Siemens, HP, or Dell and a fraction of the weight (2.1 kg versus 8kg on average). It’s passively cooled so there are no noisy fans. With the standard SSD there are no moving parts and complete (0dB) silence. And the hard drives we use are selected for quietness and are not audible in an office environment. Perfect for Office UseWith 2 x 1.8 GHz Intel Atom CPU, 4GB DDR3 RAM, and Gigabit LAN, the D2 Pro Mini PC offers more than adequate performance for general office and light multimedia tasks in a smaller package and with much less power consumption that competing corporate PCs. Low Power = Low TCOSmall Form Factor PCs come with large (and noisy) 300 Watt Power Supplies though their average power consumption is 100W. By using a more efficient PSU, notebook DVD drive and hard drive, and Intel’s Pine Trail processor, we’ve brought that power consumption way, way down. Ubuntu or Windows 7Ubuntu is our favourite operating system but we also offer Windows 7. We provide the D2 with 64-Bit versions of Ubuntu Linux 10.10 and Windows 7. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
