Product Description

The Sequel to Our Best Selling T1

Still Small but Dual Core-  the T2 Pro has the same small footprint as the T1 but is just an inch thicker to accomodate the larger heatsink. That extra inch enables a faster (2.13GHz) Dual Core CPU and up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM.

Tough & Silent - Galvanised steel case manufactured using CNC technology, the same technology used to manufacture aircraft components and even Apple's Mac Mini. And with No Moving Parts, there's no noise.

Just 2 More Watts - Because the T2 uses newer, more energy efficient parts it's able to offer much better performance with only marginally more power consumption at 18W vs 16W. More efficient overall.

The Adaptable Fanless T2 Pro

The T2 boasts a pair of 5 dB antennas, increasing wireless range dramatically.

Feature

A Lot Faster than the T1

Though the T2 Pro only uses 1 watt more at peak than the T1, it is significantly faster thanks to its dual core Intel Pinetrail processor. The T2 Pro Edition boasts a D2700 (2 x 2.13GHz) and faster DDR3 RAM.

Both CPUs feature an integrated GPU and memory controller – a breakthrough that greatly lowers power consumption but is powerful enough to play back 720p HD video.

VESA Mountable and Wall Mountable

Like all the T-Series PC, the T2 can be VESA mounted or even wall mounted depending on which mounting kit you order, attach it to a standard VESA Mount (100mm x 100mm), whether on a monitor, flat screen television or wall mounting bracket.

Still Fanless and Silent

You won’t have to worry about the fan failing either, since the T2 (just like our T1) is passively cooled. No fan means no sound either (you only know it’s on from the LED light). Even the laptop hard drives we offer are hand-picked to produce only a slight whir.

12V DC Input – Use it Anywhere with a 12V Regulator

Ideal for use in cars, or caravans. A 12V DC Input also makes it ideal for on-grid home use or solar installations as it can run off a Direct Current battery via the optional 12-30V DC regulator. No need for a wasteful inverter.

Wake-on-Lan (WOL), PXE Network Boot, and Auto Booting After Power Loss

All Aleutia PCs support network booting and BIOS support to power on after power loss (or return to last power state). This makes our PCs, especially the T-series, great as “always-on” servers.

PCMark Vantage Comparison between Aleutia T1 and T2 Pro.  This tests real-life usage such as photo editing, HD Playback, or opening  arge Excel spreadsheets. All done in Windows 7. Higher Scores are always better.

Example Applications

The oil services giant needed a PC that was compact, low power, and reliable and chose the Aleutia T2 with SSD as a solar-powered remote monitoring and data logging computer for its pipeline operations in Mexico.

November 9, 2011 Note: Because of the recent floods in Thailand, hard drive prices have soared and will be expensive until manufacturing resumes in 2012. Now is the best time ever to opt for a faster, more reliable Solid State Drive.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
